Could one get away with DD'ing an Acura NSX? Reliability wise, anybody have experience or opinions?
Paperboy Ditty for your time.

Wasn't there one daily driven NSX just featured on FP? I don't have first hand experience but I'd say you probably could. At least if you live in some relatively warm and pothole free area.

Whoops, Northern Virginia is like a cold pothole minefield.

There's a guy who DD's one that is at my school, it's in the same parking spot every day and it's gorgeous.

I guess it could deal with cold weather but pothole ridden streets + low sports cars isn't a good combination.

What part of 1990's Honda V6 sounds like it couldn't be daily driven? It's not like a Countach or anything.

I knew a guy who did. Bought one with about 20k and DD'd it for 3 or 4 years till he hit 60k. Stopped for no reason other than the cars started appreciating fairly rapidly and he didn't want to counteract that by driving up the miles any more.
He described it as as easy as pretty much any 'sporty' commuter car. He also had an NA Miata (how I knew him) and said the NSX was an infinitely better commuter.

Heard it's like a big oversteering Accord.

Meh, I drive DC with lowering springs on my A4 so I'm not too concerned with that aspect.

Doesn't that only happen every 80-100,000 miles?

No idea, maybe?

It's a Honda. There are several examples with over 200K+ miles being daily driven. Most I've read of is 300k+ miles

If my wife had not said 4-door only for my current car, I would have been able to tell you. I met a gentlemen who had owned his since '92, and had almost 300k miles on it. This guy was an old wrench, and said had he not owned a hand-full of project cars during that time he would have sold it. All because it was too reliable and he couldn't get his hands dirty.
